Ac/dc converter modules are also available up to 15 w with inputs of 85-264 v ac. The ac/dc and dc/dc converters are pcb mountable with built-in protection for overvoltage, overload and thermal trip. They carry safety approvals like ul, csa, tuv, iec, and en60950, apart from radiation clearances fcc-b and vcci2. Each unit undergoes severe environmental, climatic, shock and vibration tests prior to availability for users. General operating temperatures range from -20°c to 75°c. Encapsulation of modules enhances capability to withstand 50g shock as well as 20g for vibration, high humidity with dusty, corrosive and tropical environments. Input voltages range from 4.5 v to 72 v dc [user selectable] or 88-370 v dc with output voltages 5 v, ± 12 v, ± 15 v and power handling up to 100 w per module.
